We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of James G. Kollegger, a pioneering force in the information and technology sectors, who passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the age of 83.
Jim was the founder and CEO of Genesys Partners, Inc., a venture capital and investment banking firm focused on early-stage information technology. He also founded and led EIC/Intelligence, Inc., one of the first companies to bring electronic publishing and database-driven business intelligence to market.
In recent years, Jim lived with the challenges of Parkinson’s disease. He faced the illness with dignity, sharp intellect, and resilience, remaining engaged with his work and community for as long as possible.
